Merry Christmas!

Winter landscape

“The conch shells lined up in rows,
On the boardwalk light poles with bows,
The beach all decked out in a perfect white,
A Christmas tree completes the picture, what a perfect sight…

The gulls all snug in their nests,
The wind blowing cold in from the northwest,
All in preparation for Santa as a guest,
Parents & kids alike did not on the eve get much rest…

The beach walkers all dressed in their holiday best,
All feeling quite altogether blessed,
Me in my dress clothes with even a vest,
So relaxing it is here near old mom ocean,
Never when I come here do I feel in the least bit stressed…”

Poem by Ed Matlack

We wanted to take a minute to thank all of our patrons who visited, and continue to visit, us at Sylvan Beach! We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a great holiday season. Don’t forget – there are still many restaurants open at the beach for you to visit. Plus, the beach is quite pretty to look at, even in the winter seasons! Santa is coming to visit Sylvan Beach, and you should too. We look forward to seeing all of you soon! Until then, may your holidays be festive, bright and filled with family, love and cheer!
