At Sylvan Beach there are many place to learn and enjoy the history and beauty surrounding Oneida Lake. Take your whole family on a trip to view and experience historical landmarks like the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park with roots beginning in the 1870’s or take an educational adventure to Fort Stanwix National Monument in nearby Rome, NY.

Climb to the top of the Historic Verona Beach Lighthouse and take in a wonderful view of Oneida Lake before heading back out to enjoy the beach. Take a trip to nearby Canastota to learn about boxing at the International Boxing Hall of Fame and learn about boxing and how it began.
