Due to a rise in disturbances and fights on the beach, Alcohol and alcohol consumption is no longer allowed at the picnic area on the grass, and will continue to be banned on the beach.
Mayor Horan: “If you want to drink on our beach, we don’t want you here. This a beach for the whole family. We will have zero tolerance for any alcohol on the beach.”
Our village officials and local law enforcement will be cracking down on alcohol on the beach. Additional patrols will begin Fourth of July weekend and continue throughout the summer.
