Canal View Café

Established in 1977. The Canal View started as a small seasonal cafe in 1977 with a counter and 6 tables by current owner Jean Tabarrini’s family. What started as a breakfast and lunch spot for locals & fishermen is now an 80 seat restaurant with outdoor dining overlooking Oneida Lake and the Erie Barge Canal. Today’s Canal View features a classic oak beer & wine bar and displays a large collection of Sylvan Beach memorabilia. With its casual, affordable fare the Canal View is a must for lunch or dinner at the beach. And, after 40 years it’s still a favorite for locals and fishermen!
