Woods Valley started in 1964 with just a rope tow, J-bar, T-bar and homemade grooming tools. The facility now has full grooming capabilities and thousands of feet of snowmaking lines for troublesome winters.

With the good snowfall Rome New York is known for, Woods Valley is naturally a great ski area. It is an easy to get to Skiing facility thats very close to home. Central New York is not a very mountainous region, but Woods Valley is an excellent area right in our backyard.

The newest addition to Woods Valley is a Wonder Carpet and Tube Park. The wonder carpet makes it a breeze for beginners to enhance their skills with an easy ride up to the learning zone. The new Tube park is a ton of fun for the family. Be sure to make the best of winter and experience Woods Valley!
